Unity Community Mediation Team’s Empowering Mission

The Unity Community Mediation Team, a 501C(3) organization, is to strive for a complete realization of its goals and objectives of the Memorandum of Understanding with an emphasis on bringing in and working closely with our city youth in mentorship opportunities as our future city and civic leaders.

Reviving the Memorandum of Understanding: UCMT’s Ongoing Commitment

In the wake of George Floyd’s tragic death, the Unity Community Mediation Team rekindles its commitment to the Memorandum of Understanding. With a focus on youth mentorship and civic leadership, UCMT aims to drive positive change in Minneapolis.

Police Community Relationship Council

The PCRC serves as a collaboration platform, bringing together representatives from the community and the leadership team from the Minneapolis Police Department. Their primary purpose is to review, amend, and reach consensus of the Memorandum of Understanding. This living document outlines critical agreements and commitments, fostering transparency, accountability, and positive change within the city.
